ABC executive fired over racist remarks

Racism Score: 4.7

Barbara Fedida, head of ABC News talent, rather, former head of ABC News talent was fired from ABC for her racist comments to Black anchors. Fedida’s disparaging comments were directed at Robin Roberts, Kendis Gibson, and Sunny Hostin.

Per Fox News, a 2018 comment substantiated by an internal investigation concluded amid a contentious meeting regarding Robin Robert’s contract renewal, Fedida conveyed “what more could Roberts want, it is not as if the network is asking Roberts to ‘pick cotton.’” Tell us how you really feel.

Robin Robins, Kendis Gibson, and Sunny Hostin

Fedida would go on to explain that ABC “spends more on toilet paper than we ever would on him”, referring to Kendis Gibson. To add to her racist communication collection, she referred to “The View” co-host Sunny Hostin as “low rent.”

It is safe to say Fedida is an angry person all around because apparently, she also referred to woman as ‘See You Next Tuesday’s!’ No place for this type of disrespect in the work place, good riddance.
