Joe Biden – Vote for me or your Black card is revoked

Disclaimer – We do not want to go down the political rabbit hole of “Democrats do not have to earn the Black vote because they feel they are entitled to it” in this article. Whether that narrative is true or not can be debated ad nauseum at another time. The focus of this review is purely on the comments Joe Biden made regarding Black people.

Racism Score: 4.0

This story is worth reviving since a young voter asked Joe about his “you ain’t black” comment in the town hall.

The “Bo knows” advertising campaign in the early 90’s is iconic! “Bo knows football, Bo knows baseball…Bo knows diddly.” The same perhaps can be said for Presidential candidate Joe Biden’s affinity for how Black people should think. Joe knows Black people…or does Joe know diddly?

In a May interview with Charlemagne the God, Biden fixed his lips to say, “If you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t Black.” Pump. The. Breaks. Watch for yourself.

Who in the hell did he think he was talking to? Surely Biden does not think Black people are a monolith and are incapable of thinking for themselves, does he?

Only Joe knows. The comment was disrespectful even if it was Biden’s attempt at humor. Biden “apologized.”

Politico reports Biden expressed the follow:

Biden’s “apology” From NBC News:

More from USA Today on Biden’s claim he received endorsement from NAACP:

We reviewed a plethora of different news sources to view the apology and we could not find an actual apology. Rather we only found comments that he should not have said it.

No need to belabor Biden’s cavalier attitude and non-apology, it is not like he will make a similar mistake or have a Freudian slip in the future.
