Noah Cyrus calls Black woman “nappy ass ho”

Racism Score: 4.1

In 2007, Don Imus became infamous for describing the Rutgers’s women’s basketball team as “nappy-headed hos.” The outrage was swift and just. Calling Black women “nappy-headed hos” is a NO-NO. It is said that Black women are the most disrespected people in nations throughout the world.

Somehow, Noah Cyrus missed the memo. While defending the dress wearing (it is OK for men to wear dresses if they want, i.e. Dennis Rodman, Young Thug and Andre 300) Harry Styles from the polarizing Candace Owens, Cyrus used the following racially charged language.

“He wears this dress better than any of u nappy ass heauxz”

If you are wondering “who the hell is Noah Cyrus?”, your thought process is correct. She is the younger-off-brand version of her older sister Miley Cyrus. To Noah’s credit, she has an ascending music career of her own.

Naturally, the predictable thing to do for Cyrus was to claim ignorance about the term which she inevitably did. We will have to take her word for it. Cyrus apologized for the remark as well and cancel culture spared her from being cancelled.

Some Black people seemed to condone Cyrus’s use of the racially charged language since it was against Owens which is a lengthy conversation for another day.

Let this be a lesson to all. Calling Black women “nappy” anything will be deemed racist, accept it. However, not all Black people believe the term is that offensive.

Exhibit A

DL Hugely believed the ‘hos’ part went too far; however, Hughley believed the Nappy-headed part was right.

We promise you, using “nappy” is a no-no to describe Black women, do not do it!
