Pretty fly for a white guy

Montrezl Harrel channeled his inner Sidney Deane from White Men Can’t Jump when he directed his ire towards Luka Doncic. Luka Doncic is the next Larry Bird a baller and budding superstar. During an August playoff game, Harrel and Doncic appeared to get in a kerfuffle. The conflict emboldened Harrel to call Doncic a “bitch ass white boy!” Shots fired.
Ordinarily, the insult would not draw national attention, but these are not ordinary times. The WNBA & WWNBA (Woke National Basketball Association and Woke Women’s National Basketball Association respectively) have fancied themselves as the social justice league.
Due to the progressive distinction, racial insults such as the one delivered by Harrel cannot be tolerated. Was it a racist insult? Perhaps. Was it egregious? No. We will defer to Doug Gottlieb on the harshness to get a white man’s perspective.
We are venturing on belaboring the point right now but stay with us. Harrel Posted this to his Instagram in July about why he has the phrase “HOW MANY MORE” on the back of his jersey for social justice.

You get the point. Racial equality has been a staple of the WNBA & WWNBA, so it is interesting to see Harrel’s racial equality deviation. Naturally, if the roles were reversed (Doncic saying “bitch ass Black boy) there would be abject outrage, and we acknowledge the double-standard.
Doncic did not take offense to the jab and they hugged it out the next game and let bygones be bygones. Some people believe Harrel should have been suspended. What do you think?
