Red Flags of BLM Inc. – Part 3

Editors note – Black Lives Matter Inc. removed the “What We Believe” section from their website on September 21, 2020 with no explanation.

Reminder – BLM throughout is referring to Black Lives Matter Inc. (www.blacklivesmatter.com), the Organization. NOT referring to the statement, slogan, or sentiment…The Distinction.

James Brown made the hit track “say it loud.” An excellent song. Every Black person should be proud. Black people are resilient, Black people are resourceful, and Black people can do anything we put our minds to.

The last sentence in this excerpt is interesting.

  • To “love”, ok, everyone should love. If one needs to “desire freedom”, one needs to change their mindset. Take advantage of all the opportunities provided. If one hundred thousand doors of opportunity slam shut in someone’s face, they need to find the strength to make it to door one hundred thousand and one! Quitting is for losers.

The message is convoluted. So, to want the same for others, there are prerequisites. The prerequisites are a direct contradiction to BLM’s previous verbosity. For example:

  • BLM recommits to healing themselves and each other and co-creating…where each person feels seen, heard, and supported.
  • BLM acknowledges, respects, and celebrates differences and commonalities.
  • BLM works vigorously for freedom and justice for Black people and, by extension, all people.

To that end, unless the prerequisites are met, BLM will not proceed with the bullet point actions? Perhaps we are overthinking.

If you hear Alanis Morrisette’s song “Ironic” playing in your head, you are not alone. Isn’t it ironic, BLM mentions the privilege of Black people? White privilege does exist in certain instances, we can debate the veracity at another time.

The point here is BLM should not insinuate Black privilege exists because opponents will pounce on the opportunity to say…” BLM said there is Black privilege, how are Black people oppressed then!”

Black lives matter seemed self-evident, as in all Black lives matter. The need to expand highlights what framework is conveniently missing. Kudos to you if you guest it, political ideology!

BLM has preached how inclusive they are; what about Black Libertarians? Black Republicans? Black Conservatives? Since BLM advised they are a political home to many – what political parties are accepted in BLM? If not all political parties are accepted, is the statement all black lives matter true? No.

Some Black non-democrats, Black non-liberals, and Black non-leftists report they are continuously mocked or harassed for their conservative political views. Frequent derogatory names Black people are called for having a different political opinion are coon, Uncle Tom, and house nigga. BLM makes zero attempts to stop the Black on Black hate which discredits their position of caring for all Black lives.

Right on, those who do not support transgender people need to speed up to this century. Curious though, Black sexual identity was already mentioned. What is it setting the stage for?

We at RatingRacism support LGBTQ+. Cisgender privilege is new a term for us and honestly, we are not well versed on the topic.

If we put our contrarian cap on, we must ask ourselves – is BLM protesting Cisgenders?

Detractors of BLM often mention that BLM is not just about police brutality. Some Black people are frustrated they get condemned when they want to talk about Black on Black violence.

Curiosity around the taboo subject of Black on Black violent gang crime leads to responses such as “trans-antagonistic violence is ok to talk about, but not gang violence?” We believe all violence should be ok to discuss.

Editors note – To be ultra-clear, we are creating awareness into people’s beliefs of the hypocrisy within BLM, not that we condone ignorance into sexual orientation mistreatment and violence.

Black queens are important and they need to be supported. What is apparent after reading the past few excerpts, BLM is at least a quasi-feminist movement.

The receipts for the “space” that has been built for Black women are needed. How has BLM accomplished this goal? What specific actions were taken with the astronomical amount funding and how was the progress measured?

RED FLAG ALERT

As we stated previously, ordinarily, there is nothing wrong with the word “comrade.” Using the term “comrade” in any social justice or political capacity is questionable. Using it repeatedly reaffirms opposition belief comrade is used intentionally for communist beliefs. Right, wrong, or indifferent, BLM should avoid the word and just use friends or ally.

No need to delve in to this expert. BLM does not practice empathy and the last sentence is nonsensical.

  • What about family’s who prefer the patriarchal practice? Why dismantle their beliefs? This contradicts “we practice empathy.”
  • Is there a BLM daycare we do not know about? Are the family-friendly spaces located in the BLM Imagination and Innovation community center? This can easily be proven by a financial breakdown to the extraordinary funding BLM has received.
  • For us, the narrative BLM is against men and hates men has been baffling. After reading the last few excerpts, it is easy to understand why people express their disdain for the anti-male sentiment.
  • The verbiage sounds consistent with the radical idealistic rhetoric explained by BLM leader, Patrisse Cullors (we will analyze Cullors deeper later).
  • We need BLM to explain what “mother in private” means. Difficult to interpret the intention of this objective. One would assume, after dismantling the patriarchal practice, mother’s can raise children without the father. As in, the goal is to remove the father from the home. Removing the father from the home seems counter-productive. Fathers should be in their children’s life. If this is a true goal, this is alarming.

SUPER RED FLAG ALERT

Stop the presses! One or two paragraph’s removed from “comrade”; BLM wants to disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure. Yikes.

Aligning a movement that disrupts Western ideology is anti-American. Remember the Cold War and the war of ideas against the Soviet Union and their communist ideology? BLM does not seem too far off.

Remember ISIS and their ever-lasting fight against Western culture? BLM unabashedly stirs the pot with extremism rhetoric that opponents equate to terrorist organizations.

BLM is a self-proclaimed radical movement which seems to lean on extremist principles. The very mention of fighting elements of Western ideology is divisive and can incite fear and panic.

Doing so under the guise of Black Lives Matter is unacceptable. Therefore, opponents believe BLM hates America and it is hard to argue otherwise. Too many “coincidences.”

  • “Parents” was underlined because their is no mention of “father” which is consistent with complaints BLM does not recognize fathers. If one were to speculate, absence of “father” is intentional.

Right on, we encourage sexual identity equality. Nothing wrong here. To play devil’s advocate, the message is repetitive. It seems BLM is just writing for the sake of writing which convolutes the objective and goals.

Could not agree more, come one come all regardless of age.

Due to violent riots, we need to understand what BLM means by “peace.” Peace does not reflect the “mostly peaceful protest” actions that have caused $2 billion in damage.

Thank you for taking the time to read this article, this concludes Part 3! One part left!

To recap, BLM has expressed the following:

  • Disrupt Western ideology
  • Disrupt nuclear family structure
  • Dismantle the patriarchal practice
  • Intentional exclusion of men
  • Acknowledged Black privilege exists
  • Multiple uses of “comrade” associated too close to anti-American rhetoric
  • Persistent use of “state-sanctioned” to subliminally state “America-approved”
  • Overall socialist propagation

All of the excerpts were taken directly from BLM’s website. Therefore, any “the words are being taken out of context” arguments are futile.

Part 4 coming soon, stay tuned!
