Steve O’ban racist political flyer testing testing

A tactic Black people know all too well occurred in South Sound, WA. A Black candidate’s face was intentionally darkened on a political flyer. A flyer indirectly related to State Sen. Steve O’ban’s campaign received criticism for darkening Democratic candidate T’wina Nobles’ face. While not illegal, it is a racist tactic that needs to cease.  

For those of you unaware, this is a tactic to that is used to make Black people look more menacing. If you are in denial, we encourage you to read studies on the experiences for people who are darker and the discrimination they face.
